For over two decades, I have dedicated my life to public service and public health– both as a nurse and a Navy veteran. As families are squeezed by rising costs of living, as access to healthcare is denied to our most vulnerable, and as basic human dignity is stripped away by our federal government, we need leaders who are willing to fight with compassion, care, and humility.”

I am running for State Representative to bring fight, experience, and compassion to Olympia because caring for the community is more than just words to me—it’s who I am and why I serve.

About Ashley

Born and raised in West Virginia, Ashley began her career at the Cleveland Clinic as a nurse in the cardiothoracic intensive care unit (ICU) in 1999. She traveled across the country, where she continued working as an ICU nurse until 2007, when she attended graduate school in nurse anesthesiology.

While working as a travel nurse, she specialized in critical care, with a cardiac focus, at several hospitals in the San Francisco and Seattle areas, including the University of Washington Medical Center and Harborview Medical Center.

Dedicated to service, Ashley joined the Navy Nurse Corps in 2012 and served as a Lieutenant Commander in the Navy Reserve. She proudly served in the Nurse Corps, leaving the military with the same rank as her grandfather—following in her family’s footsteps of service to her community and country.
